In the
printing industry, printing can be massively improved using an electrostatic
printing assist system. The ink cells of the printing cylinder are
completely emptied so that there are no more "missing dots".
Further on in
the printing process, web tacking is used to prevent the cut paper web from
slipping so that no "dog ears" form when folding.
The copy
stream can be discharged during processing so that no problems arise when
opening the products.
The fixing of
labels or the blocking of a magazine batch are suitable measures before
packaging.
As you can
see, there are countless applications for the use of electrostatics in the
printing industry. |
